Family perks are great little extras you and your family get free every month.
When you add your family to your Pay monthly account, each family member can choose their own free monthly perk.
New to Tesco Mobile?
If you join Tesco Mobile with a Pay monthly phone or SIM, you’ll be eligible for Family perks if you buy two or more deals.
Already with us?
If you’re already with us, just add another Pay monthly number to your existing account. Then all your numbers will get their own Family perk.
Frequently asked questions
Family perks are great little extras you and your family get free every month. When you add your family to your Pay monthly account, each family member can choose their own free monthly perk: 150 minutes, 250MB extra data or 500 minutes to Tesco Mobile phones.
Family perks are available to all Pay monthly customers with more than one eligible number on their account. Each of your family members can pick the perk that best suits them and it'll be added to their account for free every month. And if you want to change any of your Family perks, no problem, log in to your Pay monthly account any time. Any changes you make will be applied from your next bill date.
If you're thinking of joining Tesco Mobile Pay monthly, you'll be eligible for Family perks if you buy two or more deals together.
If you're already with us with one Pay monthly number, you need to add one or more numbers to your existing account, and then all your numbers will be eligible for their own Family perk.
If you've already got more than one number on Pay monthly, you might already be eligible for Family perks.
To find out if you're eligible or to add numbers to your account, just log in to your Pay monthly account.
Family perks aren't available on Pay as you go tariffs or on some of our older tariffs
Some of our tariffs aren't eligible for Family perks:
- Pay monthly flexible credit tariffs
- Family tariffs bought between 1st August 2011 – 1st July 2012
- Pay as you go tariffs
Your Family perk lasts a month and renews at the same time as your monthly allowance. It will stay on your account until you ask us to change it, or if you're no longer eligible.
Once you've chosen your Family perk, you can change it at any time by logging in to your Pay monthly account and going to the My tariff section. The changes will take effect after your next bill date.
You can get Family perks on any of our current Pay monthly phones and tariffs as long as you have two or more Pay monthly numbers on your account.
To keep your Family perks you always need to have at least two eligible Pay monthly numbers on your account. If you cancel a number, leaving just one number on your account, all Family perks will be removed from your next bill date. We'll send you a text to let you know this is going to happen. However if you'd like to continue enjoying the benefits of Family perks, just add another number to your account at any time.
You can only have Family perks if both your numbers are on the same account. Family perks are available on accounts with more than one Pay monthly number. If you want to take advantage of Family perks and your numbers are on different accounts, you will need to cancel the separate numbers and set up new numbers in the same account. If the number on the cancelled account is currently in the middle of its contract, there may be a charge to disconnect.
